Join us for our first Emerging Artist concert of 2018. Colin and his band will be joined by young performers from the Musical Theatre Project and Richmond Jam for an evening of popular music from the stage, screen and hit parade.

George Collins - On My Way To Berklee, USA

George Collins is a talented young musician from Settle. He has an impressive performance schedule which includes clubs, pubs and festivals, notably Carfest South, The Cavern Club, The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival - all while studying A levels!

Winner of the Pendle Young Musicians Bursary, runner up in the Lee Ritenours Six String Theory International Guitar Comp. (2018). Manchester Camerata invited him to compose for Guitar & and Strings which premieres May 2019.

George has been offered a place to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music Boston, USA from September. Spend an evening with George and find out why. Proceeds will help raise the funds he needs to make his dream become a reality.

The Tenmours

The Tenmours return with their intimate concert performance at Leyburn Arts Centre complete with tales from their Summer festival and busking appearances around the country.

Join Adam Hopkins and Alex Johnston-Seymour for a dive into rampant folk ‘n’ roll!  The Tenmours are the pioneers of the New Folk Fusion genre and inter-tweed Folk, Rock and World Music to bring you an interestingly diverse and often surprising evening of music. Rich Marsh (plus guests)

Just give me some Rock and Roll music!

Richmond based guitarist Richard Marsh made his debut appearance at Leyburn Arts and Community Centre in 2016 and he's back with more dancefloor classics and tales of gigging around the Dales and the North East.

Rich picked up the guitar at primary school and hasn’t looked back! He is no stranger to the local music scene and is best known as lead guitarist and vocalist in his band One2Three4 and tribute band The Status Crows. As a session musician he is first call for numerous bands in the area who need to deputise for regular members.

He is proud to be one of the few musicians to play every Barn That Rocks (held near Leyburn) as well as appearing regularly at festivals and music nights across the North East.

Rich, and guests, will perform an acoustic evening of popular music including hits songs from artists such as the Eagles, Bryan Adams, Status Quo and many more Rock ‘n’ Roll favourites.
